Electronic newsletters – click on the icons below to see extracts from recent ones – are produced quarterly or, based on levels of content, occasionally more frequently.
As well within our private Facebook group Club members are able to identify trips that they are organising, where they’re looking for others to join them – to share the costs (and the craic). And, of course, seek advice and share reports and images from their fishing trips. We obviously recognise though that not everyone is a ‘fan’ of social media and where information is considered urgent this is circulated to the Club’s membership via e-mail.
In addition we are developing a ‘hard copy’ Journal which currently includes a 40 page section on Broadbill Swordfish, together with short sections on Pacific Salmon fishing in British Columbia and – and this shows the diversity of our members’ interests – Roach fishing in Scotland for 3lb plus ‘redfin’. The plan is – as of writing in July 2018 – to, in the next couple of months, create several section on Bluefin Tuna – a lot of that will cover – Steve can summarise here – plus details of historic captures by members, including fish up to 1200lbs. Other sections will follow. To give you an indication click on the icon below to see several pages and images from the Broadbill Swordfish section.
